Saturday Six – Episode 4

1. If you could have any cosmetic surgery procedure for free, (and without any risk of complications) would you, and if so, which one would you pick?

2. What happened the last time you didn’t leave a tip (or were tempted not to leave one) at a restaurant that made you reach that point? Did you actually leave nothing?

3. Which would you rather have in office as President:
A) Someone who supported all of your concerns and got every bill you supported passed …but was unscrupulous and often lied to get where he is.
B) Someone whose political views were nearly the opposite of yours, who was only able to pass a handful of bills you didn’t want passed…but who was completely honest and ethical all the time.
C) Someone who was middle of the road, passed bills that tended to favor compromise more than any one side of the issue, and was usually (but not always) ethical and honest.

4. What was the last movie you saw in a theater, and was it worth the price of admission?

5. List four things you need to do this weekend. Don’t be surpised if there’s a quiz later.

6. In honor of Mother’s Day, what is the last crisis your mom helped you get through?

My answers:
1. Liposuction is very tempting…but I’m not much on pain, so even despite my “spare tire,” I’d still pass.

2. My waitress apparently went home for the night in the middle of my meal and never bothered to have someone else check my table. After several minutes with an empty glass, during which other servers walked by without notice, I walked into the kitchen, refilled my own drink, and even this didn’t get the message across: no one ever came to my table. There was no tip left that night…and the manager of the restaurant had a telephone call the next day. Of course, this would never have happened if Jeff had been my server for the evening!

3. This question is meant to be tough. It’s fairly easy for me because I’m a middle of the road kind of guy, so I’d choose C. I’m curious to know how the more Conservative and Liberal among you answer.

4. “Dreamcatcher;” Barely. (Yeah, I don’t get out much!)

5. Do laundry, vacuum living room, gather up all old newspapers and take them to the recycle bin, make a return trip to the treadmill.

6. Moving to my new job in Virginia. She took charge of helping me get my old apartment cleaned and packed up. I’m a packrat, so this was a nightmare beyond words, but she did it.
