Saturday Six - Episode 29

Tag: Saturday SixPatrick @ 8:37 pm

Another week has gone by in a flash, and it’s already time for another helping of the “Saturday Six!

But first, here is the obligatory preface: I’d like to invite you to visit some of the first-time players who decided to give the “Saturday Six” a try last week. (I hope you’re also visiting the regulars as well, which is much easier now that those all-important journal addresses you put in the comments are now automatically turned into hyperlinks.) If you were a first-time player and I missed you, please let me know. If you’re a first-time player this week, please be sure to say so in the comment.

Welcome to last week’s first-time players: Chuck, Bud, Renee, Chantal, and Celeste.

As for the first one to play, the kudos goes to Kim who beat everyone else to the button!

Now, on to this week’s questions. To play you can either answer the questions in a comment here, or put the answers in an entry on your journal…but either way, leave a link to your journal so that everyone else can visit! (And if you’re playing for the first time, please be sure to say so in the comment!) Enjoy!

1. What is the most clever Halloween costume someone you know has worn (that you wish you’d have come up with yourself)?

2. You’re invited to a Halloween party that begins in one hour. You have to make a costume only from what is already in your house. So how would you dress up?

3. What is the amount of the last check you wrote?

4. How many keys are on your keyring, and are there any that you’ve forgotten that you even had?

5. Who was the last musical performer you saw live in concert, and was it worth the admission price?

6. READER’S CHOICE QUESTION #29 from DaBabysBack: What is your favorite day of the week and why?

For next week’s Reader’s Choice Question from Carly, you might want to take a quick look through some of the more memorable comments your journal has received.

MY ANSWERS:
1. My dad once went to a costume party as a telephone booth. He built a hexagonal cylinder that he stayed inside and rented a real payphone to go on the outside of the cylinder. The thing weighed about sixty pounds, and he outfitted the inside with a harness so he could move around with it.

2. I’d throw on a suit, grab an antique microphone I have and go as a game show host. (No old costumes lying around here, unfortunately.)

3. $40.00. Damn credit card.

4. I have a total of 22 keys and there are 4 that I’m not so sure about.

5. Tina Turner. She performed to a group of television promo people at a special free concert and she was great.

6. Up until a short time ago, it was Saturday. Lately, Saturday’s have been stressful, so I’m going with Sunday.
