Saturday Six - Episode 68
I must be getting older because time seems to be going by more quickly. We finished up a major project at work earlier this week, so there’s a lot less pressure on now…until my boss reveals the list of summer projects due by September 1st. But there’s always time for the “Saturday Six!”
Julie of “Drivin’ it Home” was the “first to play” last week! Congratulations, Julie!
It would appear we had only one person play last week who had never played the ‘Six’ before, and that is Charley of “Courage,” who hosts the “Friday Five!” Be sure to stop by his journal and say hello.

MY ANSWERS:
1. “The Wizard of Oz,” and I just bought the DVD after seeing a documentary on it on Turner Classic Movies.
2. Too often, myself. I let anxiety and depression get the best of me far too often.
3. Contrived language. I know there are some people who speak in non-standard English as a general rule. But I’ve read journals where it appears that the writer is quite smart, yet uses “lingo” in an apparent attempt to dumb-down their content. That annoys me… a lot.
4. I’m a cocktail. How nice.
5. “Have a good night,” to a co-worker.
6. Not really, although it’s true that one is pretty vulnerable in a shower or bathtub. But I’m confident that my dogs would alert me to a mysterious knife-weilding old woman in time for me to make a quick escape.
