When California State Sen. Roy Ashburn, a Republican, unexpectedly announced that he is gay, local LGBT advocates saw it as a major opportunity.

This found its way to my email box from a former co-worker. I don’t have a cat, so “Feline Friday” is rarely an option for me.

But I figured I’d share this one anyway.

I wish my typical day at work went that smoothly.
