Sunday Seven – Episode 106
Have you ever listened to someone play music and think to yourself how much you wish you had the same talent? Maybe you do. I don’t.
You’ve heard the old saying about not being able to carry a tune with a bucket? For me, I couldn’t carry one in a wheelbarrow.
But I guess that’s no reason to complain, since it is fueling a question for this week’s edition!
But first, Tina, of “Refine Me,” who played for the first time last week, was also first to play last week. Congratulations and welcome, Tina!
On to this week’s question!
THIS WEEK’S QUESTION:
Name the seven musical instruments you most wish you could play.
Either answer the question in a comment or answer it in your journal and include the link in a comment. (To be considered “first to play,” a link must be to the specific entry in which you answered the question.) You may include this link in the URL space when leaving your comment, or in the comment itself. As long as it’s there in one spot or the other.
My answers:
1. Piano
2. Violin — Then I could really perfect my Jack Benny imitations
3. Guitar
4. Ukulele
5. Trumpet
6. Trombone — One, not 76 of them.
7. Harpsichord — I bet no one else will come up with this one!

Hi! This is my first time posting here. Loved the question!

Mine are up
Did Jack Benny actually play that thing? I thought it was a prop!
No harsichord, but I do have some weird stuff on my list.
Heh. All of them. Every single musical instrument that has ever been invented. Sorry, but I can’t narrow it dowon any more than that.
I prefer the less PC simile I sing like an amputee. I can’t hold a note or carry a tune. My son just started violin lessons, he’ll be four next week, but he’s been talking about the violin for over a year, so we’re giving it a shot. Thank heavens student violins are inexpensive.
Hi Patrick! Just dropping a line to say hello. I was just updating my blog roll and noticed yours had moved, so got the new link up.
As for the instruments:
1. Harp – it’s got to be one of the most beautiful instruments
2. Flute
3. Violin – if I can play in a 100 piece orchestra that plays bars that move people to tears!
4. Piano
5. Guitar – my father’s a Chet Atkins pupil, I should know how to play at least a little bit, but I don’t! LOL
Sorry, can’t think of any others I really like to play. This was fun, though!
My answer is up .
Love the Sunday Seven! My answers are up!
