[...] Patrick shares a neat tool that helps pick a candidate based on several issues. [...]

Like many online quizzes, some of the questions do not offer options that apply to me. For example, the last question did not offer an option that came even close to my opinion on the issue. Every single answer included the phrase, “I believe in the public’s right to bear arms.” I believe no such thing, and while I admire the Constitution of the United States, I believe that the second ammendment was a big mistake made by people who could not forsee the future we inhabit, and should be repealed. No private citizen should have the right to bear firearms for any reason. Oops, I’m revealing my left of centre Canadian leanings here, aren’t I?

All that said, the candidates (or former candidates) I was closest to (according to the quiz) were Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel, neither of whom have a prayer (heh) of representing their party, much less becoming the next President of the USA.

No surprise here! John Edwards is my man - followed by Barak Obama, Hillary Clinton, Dennis Kucinich and then… the Republicans.

So– Who were your top picks, Patrick?
