Saturday Six – Episode 204

I actually was able to sleep until 11:00 this morning, only to have my phone start ringing with friends of mine asking why I wasn’t up, yet. One of them called to let me know he wanted to meet for lunch two and a half hours later. Even I don’t need that much time to get a shower!

In any case, with St. Patrick’s Day looming around the corner, here’s a green-themed edition of the Six.

  • First to play last week: Mercedes of Mercedes’ World. Congratulations!
(According to the rules, “First to Play” requires you to be the first to include the link to the specific entry in which you answered the questions, not just the general link to your blog.)

Here are this week’s “Saturday Six” questions. Either answer the questions in a comment here, or put the answers in an entry on your journal…but either way, leave a link to your journal so that everyone else can visit! To be counted as “first to play,” you must be the first player to either answer the questions in a comment or to provide a complete link to the specific entry in your journal in which you answer the questions. A link to your journal in general cannot count. Enjoy!

1. Do you have any plans to attend a St. Patrick’s Day party this weekend?

2. Have you ever thrown a St. Patrick’s Day party? If not, would you consider doing so?

3. What is your favorite thing about the Irish?

4. Take the quiz: What Color Green Are You?

5. Should carrying alcohol in public places — as people would tend to do during a city’s St. Paddy’s Day celebration — be illegal?

6. Are you more likely to be a designated driver at a party, or more likely to need one?

If you have a Reader’s Choice question you’d like to see asked (and answered), send me an email! I’d love to be able to include it in a future edition of the Saturday Six.
