Must Have Missed Something
I’m pretty sure this photo has not been Photoshopped, and I’m fairly certain that this had to have come from the third presidential debate between Senators Barack Obama and John McCain.
But I obviously missed something, because I didn’t notice McCain making such an expression, and I think I would have remembered if I had. He looks like he was suddenly stricken with a hairball.
Anyone know what this was all about?
And more importantly, the question at least half of the world must know the answer to before anyone can be a truly informed voter: what does Joe the Plumber have to say about McCain making such a face?
I certainly hope that such an incident wouldn’t keep him from buying that business that he likely wouldn’t face higher taxes on despite McCain’s claims.

I saw this on, I think, MSNBC’s website under pictures of the week. Their explanation was the McCain was making a funny face after he realized he was going the wrong way after shaking hands with Obama.

That’s correct. It was at the end of the debate. Obama shook hands with Bob Schieffer, so McCain started to move to that side of the stage, but Schieffer cut back the other way (I feel like I’m calling a football game here). McCain then shifted his arms back and forth, as if to say, “Which side?” and that’s when he made the weird face.

I saw a video clip on YouTube with this image contained therein. The incident occurred after the end of the debate as credits were rolling when Bob Schieffer (sp) approached the table as the candidates were rising from their seats. It appeared without sound that McCain was expressing his distaste for the debate process due to the stress induced. Whether this subsequent grimace was in response to a directional gaffe, I do not know.

Make that as ‘credits were rolling’, not “tolling.” CTWS is progressing rapidly with disuse of the skill…

Whenever it was it is funny as heck..looks like he got a taste of Obama and it made him sick, lol. De
