Found this on Shelly’s Cyber Chocolate:

1. How many pets do you have?
Two

2. How do you style your hair?
Medium-short, medium tapered. Pretty run-of-the-mill.

3. What’s new in your life right now?
Hmm…Maybe a sharper perception of what’s really important and what isn’t.

4. How many colors are you wearing now?
Three…blue jeans and red and white shirt. How patriotic, right?

5. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Introvert definitely.

6. What was the last book you read?
Currently reading Wild at Heart. Last book I read…hmm…don’t recall.

7. Do you nap a lot?
Not usually.

8. If you could live anywhere else than where you live, where would it be?
Hmm…I better pass on this one for now.

9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Debt and my associated stupidity.

10. What was the last thing you ate today?
Barbeque and black-eyed peas.

11. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Half hour? Part of that time is spent motivating myself to actually get up to get ready.

12. What websites do you visit daily?
My blog, Facebook, Bloglines, Golden Road.

13. What kind of animal or insect do you not like?
Spiders.

14. Do you like to clean?
Does anyone?

15. What’s the last TV Show you watched?
M*A*S*H rerun.

16. What are you doing right now?
Apparently, this meme.

17. What is the last song you listened to?
Sing, Sing, Sing

18. What would you do if you see $100 lying on the ground?
Bank it and pay a bill…assuming that I didn’t see who dropped it. If I did, I’d return it.

19. Best time of your life?
I’d like to think it is still to come.

20. Tell me something good.
Sometimes, it’s perfectly okay to turn the television off. Wait…did I say that?!?

I’m not tagging anyone:  just leave a link if you decide to play!

Hi, Patrick. Guess who’s decorating for Christmas? Village, anyone?

    Loved this list.

    1. No pets. Italian greyhound, Dolly, is a child-baby.

    2. My hair? Very, very short. About 1/2″ all over.

    3. What’s new with me? A little time without several deadlines a week.

    4. I’m wearing one color–a dark grey sweatsuit. Okay–two, if you count green socks.

    5. I’m an introvert unless I’m with folks I really, really love. Then I never shut up.

    6. Last books, in my case, both at once: Arianna Huffington’s Right Is Wrong and Shane Claiborne’s The Irresistible Revolution: living life as an ordinary radical.

    7. Never nap unless I’m sick.

    8. I’d be hard-pressed to choose where else I’d like to live, and I’d have to be free of all other obligations for the last one:

    (1) D.C., to write from the Hill during the first year of the new administration;

    (2) Alaska–I’d have a ball writing Sarah Satire: The Thrilla From Wasilla;

    (3) and, finally (and from the heart), if I were single and free, I’d want to spend a year or more in Darfur. With a laptop and a photog. I’d like very much to keep that genocide and human suffering uncomfortably in the public eye here. We are such a silly, self-absorbed culture.

    9. What makes me unhappy these days? Illness in our family and my inability to change the course.

    10. I don’t eat in the daytime. Just coffee and tea.

    11. I need little time to “get ready” in the morning. 10-15 minutes and I’m ready for the day.

    12. Websites. News, news, news and this one.

    13. Centipedes make me feel ill.

    14. I like to clean only when the mood strikes. It seldom strikes, so I clean and dislike it.

    15. Last TV show I watched? Rachel Maddow last night. Huffington sat in for her. Like Huff, but I love Maddow, so I missed her.

    16. Right now I’m doing this list–and thinking about how I need to get busy fixing supper.

    17. Last song I listened to: James Taylor, “Steamroller Blues”

    18. I can’t imagine ever finding a hundred dollar bill on the ground. In a parking lot? Look for someone nearby who might have dropped it. Out in the country (where I live)? Hm. I’d like to think I’d donate it to a worhty cause…but I’d probably use it for groceries.

    19. I’m with you, Patrick. I’d love to think the best time of my life lies ahead. At my age, however, the “best time” better hurry the hell up. That said, I think I had more fun raising my kids than anyone I know. I’d love to revisit some of that time.

    20. Something good? The disaster that has been the Bush/Cheney era is, at last, almost over.
