Here We Go…

Now that the Christmas season is upon us, popular Christmas songs are making their way to the radio.  Unfortunately, one of them is Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.  I despise that song.  I think the main reason dates back to my first job at K Mart many, many years ago:  for whatever reason, that song was on every year’s Christmas tape, and I heard it about a million times.  Is it just me, or does that final up-down sound the electric guitar makes sound like a donkey “hee-hawing?”

    That one is awful. Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmastime” is worse.

    Wow…if I had to spend the Christmas season listening to one or the other, I’m honestly not sure which I’d pick.

    I absolutely love Christmas music. I own almost thirty Christmas CDs. I have made it a personal tradition to buy one brand new Christmas CD every year.

    I am not a fan of either song mentioned so far, but can someone just please kill whoever wrote “Backdoor Santa”?? grrr…..
