Saturday Six – Episode 273
Happy 4th of July, everyone! I hope you have a great time with family and friends and that you take time to celebrate the country’s birthday, too. And when you’re done, I’ve got a set of questions focusing on our four-legged, sometimes two-legged, or no-legged, or many-legged friends.
Thanks for stopping by and for playing this week.
- First to play last week: Laane of Laane on the World. Congratulations!
(According to the rules, “First to Play” requires you to be the first to include the link to the specific entry in which you answered the questions, not just the general link to your blog.)
Here are this week’s “Saturday Six” questions. Either answer the questions in a comment here, or put the answers in an entry on your journal…but either way, leave a link to your journal so that everyone else can visit! To be counted as “first to play,” you must be the first player to either answer the questions in a comment or to provide a complete link to the specific entry in your journal in which you answer the questions. A link to your journal in general cannot count. Enjoy!
1. What was the very first pet you ever had? How close were you to that pet?
2. What is the most unusual pet you’ve had?
3. How many different kinds of animals have you owned and which type do you think acted the closest to you?
4. Take the quiz: What Pet Are You Like?
5. Do you have any desire to have an “exotic” pet? If so, what exotic pet would you most likely choose?
6. Which exotic pet would you least likely own?
If you have a Reader’s Choice question you’d like to see asked (and answered), send me an email! I’d love to be able to include it in a future edition of the Saturday Six.

Mine is up!
Here!
1. What was the very first pet you ever had? How close were you to that pet?
Well, I had a kitten just for a few days. But my family had dogs since before I was born, and the first one that was a puppy I was pretty close to and played with it a lot.
2. What is the most unusual pet you’ve had?
A rabbit, I guess – nothing terribly unusual.
3. How many different kinds of animals have you owned and which type do you think acted the closest to you?
I’ve had fish, cats, dogs, birds, rabbits. I “had” a stray cat that visited me often that was very very loving.
4. Take the quiz: What Pet Are You Like?
Cat
5. Do you have any desire to have an “exotic” pet? If so, what exotic pet would you most likely choose?
Usually they are a lot of work to take care of well. I would choose a Bearded Dragon. Maybe a Rat (not really exotic?)
6. Which exotic pet would you least likely own?
I don’t want snakes or spiders.
I’m up.
Thanks for mentioning me.
After a busy day I’ve enjoyed answering your questions.
You can find the answers here: http://www.laaneworld.com/2009/07/pets.html
Have a nice day, and weekend.
