Saturday Six – Episode 279
This is going to be a busy day, so I may be a little slow in getting comments posted. Please bear with me and I’ll get them up as quickly as I can.
This week’s quiz has several questions about your iPod. If you don’t have one, then answer based on what kind of music selections you would anticipate having if you did have an iPod. (Then consider getting one for real: they’re awesome!)
- First to play last week: Diana of Diana’s Little Corner of the Nutmeg State. Congratulations!
(According to the rules, “First to Play” requires you to be the first to include the link to the specific entry in which you answered the questions, not just the general link to your blog.)
Here are this week’s “Saturday Six” questions. Either answer the questions in a comment here, or put the answers in an entry on your journal…but either way, leave a link to your journal so that everyone else can visit! To be counted as “first to play,” you must be the first player to either answer the questions in a comment or to provide a complete link to the specific entry in your journal in which you answer the questions. A link to your journal in general cannot count. Enjoy!
1. Which single artist would you have the most songs from?
2. What are your three favorite songs from this particular artist?
3. For someone who knows you well who checks through your playlist, what song would most likely be the biggest surprise?
4. You have to sing a karaoke song: which one do you choose to sing?
5. Take the quiz: What Kind of Rocker Are You?
6. Lyrics aside, which melody on your playlist do you think is the most “hummable?”
If you have a Reader’s Choice question you’d like to see asked (and answered), send me an email! I’d love to be able to include it in a future edition of the Saturday Six.

1. David Bowie.
2. “The Hearts Filthy Lesson”, “Thursday’s Child”, “Strangers When We Meet”
3. Anything at all by Britney Spears.
4. Alabama Song, originally by The Doors, I believe.
5. I’m an Indie Rocker: “You are in it for the love of the music…
And you couldn’t care less about being signed by a big label.
You’re all about loving and supporting music – not commercial success.
You may not have the fame and glory, but you have complete control of your career.”
6. The Chocobo Theme by Nobuo Uematsu, from the Final Fantasy games. Even my wife hums it, and she could not care less about video games.
I’m not good with names and titles, so I skipped this week. I took the quiz though. I’m a freedom rocker. I think that’s right. LOL!
My answers are posted here…
