Demands for Proof

I hear it all the time: people, particularly non-believers, who challenge a believer to “prove that their God exists.”
The challenge comes, usually, because the challengers already know what’s going to happen: the believer, invariably, won’t satisfactorily prove the existence of God, no matter what they come up with.  Which is, of course, the main reason the challenge is …

A Reporter Reflects on the Beltway Sniper Case

Amy Morris and I went to college together, and for a few short years, we worked together at the same small little television station.

My passion had always been television.  Hers was and is radio.  Amy is a co-host of The Daily Debrief on Washington D.C.’s FederalNewsRadio AM 1500, featuring news and information for and about the federal government.

I’ve heard her talk about what it was like to cover 9/11 from the nation’s capitol, to stand there watching the Pentagon burning.

Tonight, as the Beltway Sniper was executed, she has published a story about what it was like covering the horror he caused.  It is a great read and I invite you to read it for yourself here.
