Your Cell Phone Company’s Clever Secret
I was browsing through the website Lifehacker and found a post called, Top 10 Clever Fixes for Your Broken Stuff. When you scroll down to item #3 in the post, it has a few solutions that might help rescue your cell phone if you ever accidentally submerge it in water.
What I found interesting was the mention of a paper inside the phones that changes color when a little liquid comes in contact with it, to make voiding a warranty easier for them.
I’ve wondered how they’d be able to tell if a phone had gone under if it were allowed to fully dry before being brought in.
So now I know.
Fortunately, it’s never happened to me, and I’m going to do my best to keep it that way.
