Letterman on the Late Night Lunacy

David Letterman, whose show has benefitted greatly from NBC’s decision to move Jay Leno to 10:00pm and Conan O’Brien to 11:35pm, had a great deal of fun Tuesday night picking on the network that chose Leno over him to replace Johnny Carson in 1992.

As you’ll see after the jump, he referred to the former Tonight Show host as Jay “Big Jaw” Leno. His immitation made me laugh out loud.&nbsp  And poor Carson Daly didn’t escape the jokes, either.

I love what he said near the end about having a show at 1:30am being almost exactly like not having a show!&nbsp  Can you tell he’s enjoying his former network’s crisis?

By the way, Letterman ended Tuesday night’s show with a slightly modified plug:&nbsp  “Craig Ferguson is next…unless he’s been moved.”
