Millions around the world are currently celebrating Lent, a period traditionally known for fasting for food or certain favorite habits. Though the intent is supposed to be a gesture showing one’s dedication to God, that aspect is often lost on people who complain about having to give up something they like.

There are some things that are almost impossible to give up for a 40-day period. For me, giving up TV would be very difficult since I work in it. Giving up the internet would likewise be impossible because it’s involved in my job.

Then there are those things that are just hard to do without for 40 days regardless of work. That’s the topic of this week’s question.
