For bloggers, it’s important to keep your audience in mind. I try my best to do that all the time, but once in a while, it dawns on me that there’s been a stretch of time since I’ve asked your opinion about the state of the old blog.
That’s not intentional; we have our daily (or weekly) interactions here when you comment on something I’ve written or play along with a question post. And I enjoy that.
But sometimes, in the race to make sure there’s something new for you, I unintentionally allow those “check-in”-style posts to fall by the wayside. So it’s about time I jumped to the point of this: in February, I’ll be celebrating nine years of blogging. That also means that starting in February, I’ll be in my tenth year at this little enterprise.
No, I would never have believed that it would ever have lasted this long when I wrote my first post in what was at the time an “AOL Journal.” But last it has, for good or bad, and here we are.
So I have a relatively simple question that requires just two answers.
What do you like best and least about this blog?
