Week after week, I’ve been basing questions on a letter of the alphabet: each question is inspired by a word that begins with a certain letter. This is the 24th week of this experiment, which means this is the week you’ve really been waiting for!
That’s because you’re curious as to whether I can possibly come up with six valid words that begin with the letter X.
Well, I have.

1. I will host, but I don't like to stay with other people. I'd rather stay in a hotel.

1. Hard one. I guess I'd host others. If I went out of town I would prefer to stay in a hotel.
2. Warranty information / receipt for an electronics purchase. I always tend to lose the actual receipts, so now I just use the terrific JotNot Pro app on my iPhone to scan them straight into my Evernote. I love being paperless!
3. My brother. He'd be most likely not to stroke out from shock.
4. No. I think it's quite enough that we have a seemingly arbitrary laundry list of words we're not supposed to use, I don't think we need to invent new ones, much less abbreviations, to get upset about. Everyone knows what it means, it doesn't refer to something offensive... Let's just move on.
5. Stevia and its derivatives. Although I don't really buy the whole aspartame controversy, I feel somehow safer using a sweetener that's been working out well in Japan for about 40 years. I have more faith in the Japanese than I do in the FDA...
6. Once, on my arm, if you don't count oral surgery. I have never been actually put under, though.

1. I usually host out of towners and I prefer to stay at a hotel unless I am visiting my sisters.
2. I'm always making copies. Well, I don't physically do them. We have office people for that. :)
3. I would play a prank on my mother but I am sure she would be able to tell the difference.
4. I don't like to use the XMAS unless I'm tweeting and need the space or else I use Christmas.
5. I don't use artificial sweeteners. It's all natural or nothing. :)
6. I've been operated about 5 times that I can see on my body. Since I have osteogenesis imperfecta, aka brittle bones, I had operations to put rods in my two femurs and left upper arm. But the other two were because the rods moved the next day and they had to go back in there to fix them.

@DianaCT I have a confession: when I saw your comment about "X-ray," last week, I honestly assumed I HAD used it, because I wrote this one a few weeks back. So I went back into the post to check and I even surprised myself with the fact that I HADN'T used it! :)
