Welcome!
Welcome to the all-new “Patrick’s Place.” Allow me to give you the quick nickel tour.
Along the top of the blog, you’ll notice some navigation buttons.
Home takes you to the “front page” with the most recent posts. It’s what you’d expect to find on any blog’s main index page.
Welcome takes you to this page, in case you want to take the nickel tour again.
About takes you to a couple of notes about me and this blog, including what is probably too long of a story about how I ended up here.
The Poll is the new home of the “Patrick’s Place” and “Willoughby Poll” features from the old blogs. They’re quick, non-scientific polls that inspire conversation.
Writing will take you to some notes about my current “work-in-progress,” when I get around to updating that page. At the moment, you can find many of my writing-related posts by clicking on the category link you’ll find there.
Weekender has links to the most recent editions of the Saturday Six and Sunday Seven, the weekend memes that began in the original version of “Patrick’s Place.”
† takes you to links about my religion-themed posts that were originally published in my “Cross Examination” blog.
And Links takes you to the blogroll, which is incomplete at the moment. I’ll eventually be adding the links from my writing blog plus a few other places of interest, so be sure to visit again.
On the sidebar, you’ll find links to the most recent posts and comments, archives, and quick links to some of the most popular categories I write about. (And this is cool: click on one of the green buttons in those sidebar modules and the window will compress itself and bring the window below it higher up the page.)
So that gives you a quick and easy idea of where things are.
Click the “Home” button at the top menu bar for the latest entries.
Explore. Enjoy.
