At lunch, I couldn’t help but notice a young couple a few tables away whose attention remained focused on an iPad. It was something we had in common. I wrote this post on my own iPad while I ate. But no one could possibly have been disturbed by what I was doing. I was quiet. They weren’t.
A friend of mine entered a design competition and is now a national finalist. Though her work might wind up on merchandise for a candidate you may not support, I’m hoping you’ll still vote for her efforts.
Most of the time, those icons we’ve grown up seeing always appear smaller when you actually reach them in person. Sometimes, they’re downright disappointing. We’ve somehow managed to elevate them into something larger than life could possibly allow in our imagination. But the Golden Gate Bridge didn’t disappoint.
