A 21-year-old Connecticut man apparently wanted to make sure he knew how much trouble he’d get into if he were to start growing pot, so he called 911 to find out.
Unfortunately, he waited until after he started growing his first seedling, police say, before making the call.
Shortly after asking a 911 operator about the consequences of cultivating pot, narcotics officers paid a visit to his home and was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal cultivation of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug factory.
Maybe it would have been better if he’d done a Google search instead.
