Have you ever been a “tourist”&nbsp in your own hometown? There are plenty of great sights to see no matter where you live, but finding them can sometimes require a little extra effort that many of us don’t make time for.

But this week, at least in the Saturday Six, we’ll take a few moments to consider the places we live and figure out what we’d do if we suddenly found ourselves with house guests who wanted to get a true sense of our home town.

Here are this week’s “Saturday Six” questions. Either answer the questions in a comment here, or put the answers in an entry on your blog… But don’t forget to leave a link to your blog so that everyone else can visit! Permission is not granted to copy the questions to message boards for the purpose of having members answer and play along there. Enjoy!

1. What’s the most unique feature of the town or city you live in?

2. What specialty food would you say is a signature dish for your community?

3. If you had friends in town who’d never seen your city or town, which restaurant would you take them to for the best sense of local flavor?

4. How high or low do you think your community would rank on a “friendliness”&nbsp scale to tourists?

5. What obvious tourist attraction would you expect first-time visitors to your community would want as a backdrop for snapshots?

6. What’s the best “hidden secret” you’d take first-time visitors to so they could experience your hometown?

Thanks for playing this week’s Saturday Six and I hope you’ll be back next week!
