Saturday 6

Saturday Six – Episode 315

I’m sure many are wondering if my tardiness in posting this week’s edition has anything to do with any possible “new arrival” of the four-legged variety.

I’m working on that, but I have nothing to report just yet.

Last week, I said I was hoping for 10 players. I got nine comments, so let’s see if we can hit double digits this week!

This week, just like last week, all of the questions are of the “either/or” variety: pick your preference of two different things and tell me why.

  • First to play last week: Wil of The Daily Snooze. Congratulations!
  • (According to the rules, “First to Play” requires you to be the first to include the link to the specific entry in which you answered the questions, not just the general link to your blog.)

Here are this week’s “Saturday Six” questions. Either answer the questions in a comment here, or put the answers in an entry on your journal…but either way, leave a link to your journal so that everyone else can visit! Permission is not granted to copy the questions to message boards for the purpose of having members answer and play along there. Enjoy!

1. Hot Coffee or Iced Coffee…and why?

2. Front Porch or Rear Patio…and why?

3. Dog or Cat…and why?

4. Blackberry or iPhone…and why?

5. Morning or Night…and why?

6. Beef or Chicken…and why?

If you have a Reader’s Choice question you’d like to see asked (and answered), send me an email! I’d love to be able to include it in a future edition of the Saturday Six.

  1. 1. Hot Coffee or Iced Coffee…and why?

Iced Coffee – I’m not a big fan of hot drinks most of the time.

    2. Front Porch or Rear Patio…and why?

Rear Patio – I’d rather nature watch than people watch.

    3. Dog or Cat…and why?

Cat – lower maintenance. As long as I can still walk my parents’ dogs.

    4. Blackberry or iPhone…and why?

iPhone – much more cool and fun – I don’t really need one anyway, so it has to be a toy.

    5. Morning or Night…and why?

Morning – I like to sleep in, but mornings really are beautiful and you can get a lot done in them.

    6. Beef or Chicken…and why?

Neither – I don’t eat meat very often at all.

  2. 1. Hot Coffee or Iced Coffee…and why?

Coffee hot and black. If God had intended it to be Iced he would have called it tea. LOL

    2. Front Porch or Rear Patio…and why?

Patio – privacy, quiet (usually), sunshine I value all three.

    3. Dog or Cat…and why?

Dogs. To quote Winston Churchill, “Dogs look up to us, Cats look down on us, and pigs view us as their equals.” LOL

    4. Blackberry or iPhone…and why?

Once you go Droid you’ll never be void.

    5. Morning or Night…and why?

Morning. Each new morning is a gift from God. Another chance to make a difference in the lives of men for His kingdom.

    6. Beef or Chicken…and why?

What, am I ordering a taco here? Please. I like a good steak now and then but for health reasons I usually stick with the chicken. And for my vegetarian friends who might be feeling left out by the question, feel free to graze all you want. LOL

  4. 1. Hot Coffee or Iced Coffee…and why?
I like hot coffee in the morning, and iced in the afternoon. In the morning I need the pick-me-up and don’t care how bitter it tastes. In the afternoon, if I want coffee, I prefer it to be mild and chilled. That is, if it’s one of those fancy latte-cappuccino-whatever kind. Regular coffee, I prefer hot.

    2. Front Porch or Rear Patio…and why?
Patio. For some reason there’s usually more shadow. I’m not a fan of sunshine.

    3. Dog or Cat…and why?
    Dog. Loyal, ferocious, loving, useful.

    4. Blackberry or iPhone…and why?
I’ve never so much as touched either, but I guess a Blackberry… It’s my understanding that iPhone apps cost money, and in all honesty, if I’ve already spent 500 green ones on a telephone, I don’t want to keep bleeding more cash to get it to do the things I bought it for.

    5. Morning or Night…and why?
Night. It’s quiet, and usually cooler than during the day.

    6. Beef or Chicken…and why?
Chicken. Red meat, while tasty, tends to have more fat, and I really dislike the texture of it. Besides, since I’ve developed gout in my foot, protein-rich food leads to tremendous pain.

  5. 1. Hot Coffee or Iced Coffee…and why?
Iced Coffee, blended (Like Tim Horton’s Iced Caps), because hot coffee tasts really really gross. (I’m a tea person, can ya tell, can’t stand coffee haha)

    2. Front Porch or Rear Patio…and why?
Back, I like my privacy 🙂

    3. Dog or Cat…and why?
Cat, I love both a lot though, I’m not sure why really.

    4. Blackberry or iPhone…and why?
    I don’t know, I’ve never had a cellphone and I don’t know the difference.

    5. Morning or Night…and why?
Both! The are both quiet times of day which I like, it’s the afternoons I’m not so fond of.

    6. Beef or Chicken…and why?
I have chicken more often and love it, normally I’d have said chicken, but I haven’t had beef in so long that I’ve been craving it all day and feel like it’s my answer now haha.
