Last week, I turned the tables on some of you who answered a recent edition of the Sunday Seven. Those who played that week had to come up with questions they’d ask me over dinner.
The questions I got were so good, I couldn’t resist using them for the Saturday Six. I’ll answer the questions myself this week, but today, it’s all about you!
Thanks for dropping by and I hope you enjoy this week’s set of questions!
Be sure to check back this week and click on the links of bloggers who play along in the comments below! It’s a great way to find blogs you may not have visited and keep the conversation going!
Here are this week’s “Saturday Six” questions. Either answer the questions in a comment here, or put the answers in an entry on your blog… But don’t forget to leave a link to your blog so that everyone else can visit! Permission is not granted to copy the questions to message boards for the purpose of having members answer and play along there. Enjoy!
1. From Cat.: What’s the best part about where you live?
2. From Cat.: What can we do about so-called Christians who really aren’t? At least, they don’t look  like they’ve ever read the Gospels. At least, not the Gospels you and I seem to have read.
3. From Strange: Where did you grow up?
4. From Strange: What do you like to do in your spare time?
5. From Strange: If you could visit anywhere in the world where would you go?
6. From AislÃnge: What made you decide to start your blog? An inspiration, a need to empty your head, a complaint of something, or something entirely different?
If you have a Reader’s Choice question you’d like to see asked (and answered), send me an email! I’d love to include it in a future edition of the Saturday Six.
I’m new to this so I hope I did it right. Here are my answers: https://drpepperdiva.wordpress.com/2011/11/21/its-all-about-me/
OK, I’m only a little late arriving to this party! Here are my answers: http://traislinge.blogspot.com/2011/11/saturday-six-episode-397.html. I am going to check out the other answers, too – especially to question #2, as I had the hardest time answering that. It required a lot of thought… and at first I felt that being a non-Christian kind of makes me unqualified to answer; but I know false people and that makes me qualified to answer it from that standpoint. Still, it will be interesting to see how others answered it.
@Thomas Frank I was only in a small part of Iowa (when I went to Yellowstone, we left through the west entrance/exit, which is in Iowa, not Wyoming), but I really loved what I saw. And Montana and Wyoming were stunning, so I have no doubt that Iowa is, as well.
As always, I have such fun with your memes, Patrick!
1. The best part about Iowa is the cost of living; everything is super-cheap here. There’s also hardly any crime or traffic. Of course, the trade-off is that the weather is bad half the year and there’s not much to do.
2. Encourage them to get into the Word. Honestly I almost put myself in this category right now, but I’m trying to be better.
3. Ankeny, Iowa for the most part.
4. I fill most of my spare time with blogging, but I also like to work out and occasionally game.
5. I have a whole list of places I want to go, but I think I’d start off with Chile as it’s cheap and wouldn’t decimate my meager savings.
6. I started blogging to share my strategies for college success with other students. I was working as an orientation assistant for the incoming freshman at my school during summer 2010, and I decided I’d put the things I was learning online. I also figured the blog would look good to recruiters.

@psalm23
Which “Big city”? There are so many!
I have not been to Colorado but it is high on my list of “must see” places! I am envious – it has to be so lovely!
Oh, and incidentally, your link to AislÃnge’s blog goes to Strange’s instead. Me? OCD?? Nah
@psalm23 Nothing wrong with a little OCD! Thanks for the catch…I thought I had fixed that! It’s fixed now, though! 🙂
@psalm23
Oh, how funny! That must have confused some people!

Interesting meme. Hopefully I can take part sometime.
@Jamericanspice Please do…you don’t have to do it only on Saturday and there’s never a deadline, so it’s always open!
