Obama Criticized for Delay in Bin Laden Decision

A website with the tagline, “A Free Press for the Conservative Revolution,” which is an obvious way of stating right up front that it is biased, is criticizing President Obama for delaying the decision on the raid of Osama Bin Laden’s compound.

The Patriot Update reports that Obama kept military commanders hanging after deciding he’d “sleep on it” — then spending a whopping 16 hours deliberating — before ultimately giving them the go-ahead.

This is political foolishness at its worst.

After all: what difference does it make?

Did we get Bin Laden? Yes.

We may have even obtained data that could help prevent future planned attacks on American interests here and abroad.

If the mission had failed, this same group of people who is complaining about the delay would certainly have been complaining about a “rush to judgement.” Obviously, Obama’s “careful consideration” produced results that his predecessor wasn’t able to deliver.

So what’s the problem?

I guess when polls indicate that a major development has actually boosted a president’s approval rating, the other side has to hunt down something to bitch about.

  • There are a lot of things I take exception to with our President, but this isn’t one of them. The order was given, our SEALs did what they do so very well and there is one less terrorist mastermind breathing our air today. All in all, a good day at the office.

Dislike his economic policies, social issue, etc., but let this one go.
