10 Superpowers I Wish I Possessed

123RF

If you could have superpowers, but you were limited to only 10, which ones would be the first you’d choose? Here’s my list of superpowers wish list.

We’ve seen a wide array of superpowers on display from the seemingly endless series of superhero movies that have come out over the past decade or so. Here are the superpowers I wish I could have.

1. Invisibility

It’d be great to be able to walk in unobserved and see what happens when everyone thinks you’re not around.

2. Healing

Imagine being able to rid people of various maladies and restore them to health. Is there some “secret”&nbsp cure to various diseases? Assuming you could stay anonymous, you could be it!

3. Omnilinguism

This is the ability to be fluent in any language, so that you could visit any place or run into anyone and instantly be able to communicate, no matter which language they speak. I’d want my language superpower to include the ability to talk to animals as well as people.

4. Telepathy

It’d be great to be able to not only transmit messages to someone else but also receive their thoughts.

5. Invincibility

It would be incredible to be incapable of being wounded, hurt, or damaged.

6. Atmokenesis

The ability to control the atmosphere, specifically the weather, would mean being able to reduce the chances of droughts and floods, and keeping hurricanes and typhoons away from populated areas. Maybe I could even do something about carbon dioxide since too many lawmakers seem too unwilling to go there.

7. Time Manipulation

You could go back and right a wrong before the wrong ever happened.

8. Night Vision

With this, you’d actually be able to see the things that go bump in the night.

9. Telekenisis

This is the ability to move things or cause things to happen with your thought. If nothing else, it’d be great for traffic.

10. Immortality

If you could do all this, wouldn’t you want to be around for a while to enjoy it?

That’s my list of superpowers. But it turns out there are plenty more out there worth considering. Here, for example, is a list of 28 superpowers one might choose from.

Which superpowers would you most like to have?
