But What Does A Christmas Tree Taste Like?

Jones Soda is at it again.&nbsp  Each year, they come up with a lineup of screwball flavors for the holidays.&nbsp  Last year, for example, their soda pop came in a Thanksgiving theme with the flavors Green Pea, Sweet Potato, Dinner Roll, Turkey and Gravy, and Antacid.

This year’s variety pack is Christmas-themed, and the flavors are Sugar Plum, Christmas Tree, Egg Nog and Christmas Ham.&nbsp  (Jewish customers will have a Hanukkah-themed alternate selection, with flavors Jelly Doughnut, Apple Sauce, Chocolate Coins and Latkes.)

Of the Christmas varieties, Egg Nog actually sounds like it might be worth a try.&nbsp  I’m having some Egg Nog-flavored coffee as I write this, and it’s pretty tasty.&nbsp  But Egg Nog soda may well be a very different beast.

But Christmas Tree soda?&nbsp  What does that taste like?&nbsp  I’d imagine that it smells like Pine…but unless you’ve ever tried to down a cup of Pine Sol (which I’d strongly recommend you not do), I doubt you know what the taste is supposed to be.

Maybe that’s the beauty of it:&nbsp  no one can complain that they got that flavor wrong!
