City to Chef: “Thanks, But No Thanks”

Jamie Oliver, otherwise known as “The Naked Chef,” was brought to tears by America’s “Fattest City.”

More specifically, the television personality, who visited Huntington, West Virginia to shoot a new reality show airing in March on ABC, got emotional when many of the residents there turned down his efforts to get them to eat healthier.

More than half of Huntington’s residents are losing the battle of the bulge, but many of them are either content with that fact or just aren’t ready to do something about it. Some refused to even listen to his presentation or participate in tapings of the show.

The program, Food Revolution, airs March 26th on ABC. Considering the advance press that the star breaks down over the unwillingness of fat people to eat healthier, I bet it’s going to get a decent number.  If I were ABC, I’d slip this into February sweeps…or save it until May.
