When I was kid, Easter meant Easter baskets filled with candy, including jelly beans. So I decided to list my favorite jelly bean flavors.
Do you consider yourself a connoisseur when it comes to jelly bean flavors? Some companies offer a wide variety of options.
But here are my 10 favorites.
1. Licorice
Those little black jelly beans have always been my favorite. In fact, if I had to narrow it down to just one, that’d be my pick.
2. Lime
Lime is my second-favorite flavor, but they’re often so close to lemon that it’s hard to tell them apart.
3. Lemon
They tasted like lemonade in a gelatin form!
4. Orange
I think I see a pattern here when it comes to the citrus flavors. I’ve always loved oranges, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that they’d make this list.
5. Bubble Gum
6. Cream Soda
7. Strawberry Shortcake
8. Root Beer
9. Sour Apple
I’m not a huge fan of the several “sour” varieties available among jelly bean flavors, but if I had to pick one, apple would be it.
10. Tutti Frutti
When I last tried a jelly bean of this flavor, what I recall was something that tasted sort of like that classic red tropical punch flavor. (But I still prefer licorice.)
Which flavors would you most prefer in your Easter basket?
