Just a reminder: time is running out to sign up to honor a victim of September 11th. If you’d like to do so, just go to Project 2,996&nbsp and volunteer there. You’ll be given information on one of the 2,996 people killed nearly five years ago. On Monday, you’ll be asked to do a blog post about your victim.

It doesn’t matter what political affiliation you have, or what your feelings about the current war are. This is about the people who were lost on 9/11.

In my case, I’ll be remembering a 24-year-old named Joshua Birnbaum who worked in the World Trade Center. I never knew him personally, but I did learn about him through interviews with his parents done in the months following the attacks by the television station I worked for at the time.

Look for his story here at “Patrick’s Place” on Monday.
