Determined WWII Vet Dies After Completing ‘Final Mission’

Frank Tanabe knew his time was short. He was battling liver cancer, and at 93, it was clear he wasn't going to win the fight. But Tanabe, a World War II veteran whose family spent time interred in a Japanese-American Camp in the U.S. after the attack on Pearl Harbor, had one mission left that he wanted to accomplish before his death: he wanted to vote one last time.
