I subscribe to a daily email devotional from a website called The Upper Room. Earlier this week, on April 1st, that day’s devotional was written by someone who starts each month by celebrating things in her life that she is grateful for.
So that led me to thinking about the first Sunday Seven of a new month, and a topic that everyone can participate in, regardless of their religious inclination (or lack thereof).
- First to play last week: Cat. of Sweet Memes.
(According to the rules, “First to Play” requires you to be the first to include the link to the specific entry in which you answered the questions, not just the general link to your blog.)
Here is this week’s “Sunday Seven” question. Either answer in a comment here, or put the answers in an entry on your blog (with a link here), and then comment here with a link back to your blog so that everyone else can visit! Enjoy!
THIS WEEK’S QUESTION:
Name seven things in your life right now that you are grateful to have.
Either answer the question in a comment or answer it in your journal and include the link in a comment. (To be considered “first to play,” a link must be to the specific entry in which you answered the question.) You may include this link in the URL space when leaving your comment, or in the comment itself. As long as it’s there in one spot or the other.

I’ve combined both weekend days’ answers into one post. It’s that kind of weekend, eh?
Also, thank you for ‘forcing’ me to think about today’s list. It took about 15 seconds to do and like Donna was hard to limit to 7. Good to focus more on this subject.
1. my parents
2. shelter from a snow storm/ cold
3. a decent job/ income
4. my car still working
5. some friends
6. Internet – connection it provides to people, information
7. ability to read, learn, etc.
Here’s mine! It’s hard to decide what not to mention, when I’m limited to seven.
